Kick off this weekend at the opening of the Charlestown Brewing Co. Beer Garden at The Yard at Hood Park. The pop-up will be open every weekend through August and feature speciality drinks, live music, mini gold, food vendors, and has a mission to give back. They are giving a portion of proceeds to the Hold a Heart Foundation, which helps to improve the lives of those with heart disease. The opening weekend will also feature giveaways from some breweries and offer guests a chance to win branded gear and exclusive prizes!

Every week on Saturdays RunSouthie has a run club offering 5k and 10k routes. This is a free event and open to everyone to get out and get some exercise. The group meets at Loco, 412 W Broadway, Boston. All paces and milage are welcome to join. This is a great way to get some exercise and meet some new people!!

This tradition honors the Battle of Bunker Hill, the armed services, and the historic neighborhood of Charlestown. The parade is bigger and better than ever this year for the 250th anniversary. The parade is free and open to all.
