Boston Oktoberfest 2026:
The Complete Guide to Events & Festivals
Oktoberfest season is back, bringing steins, pretzels, live music, and Bavarian energy to celebrations across Greater Boston and beyond.
Oktoberfest may have started in Munich more than 200 years ago, but Greater Boston has made the tradition its own. From September through October, breweries, beer halls, markets, and neighborhoods are filling the calendar with Märzen pours, giant pretzels, live music, and plenty of friendly competition.
Some celebrations stick close to Bavarian tradition, while others put a local spin on the festivities with 5Ks, brewery crawls, DJs, street festivals, games, and waterfront parties. Whether you’re looking for a massive weekend festival or a laid-back afternoon over a stein, here are the Oktoberfest celebrations worth having on your fall radar.
