Join Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) on October 24th for the 29th Annual Lesbians & Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance to support breast cancer prevention! This in-person Halloween Bash at Club Café features a lively evening of music, dancing, and entertainment. Celebrate community and support a vital cause at the 29th Annual Lesbians & Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance: Halloween Bash for Breast Cancer Prevention! Enjoy a high-energy night at Club Café with music by guest DJ Christina from San Francisco, a dance lesson by Liz Nania of OUT to Dance, and a costume contest with prizes! During the VIP Party, MBCC will honor Rev. Irene Monroe, an African-American lesbian feminist public theologian, preacher, and columnist whose work centers on the intersection of religion, social justice, and LGBTQIA+ rights. Through her writing and public advocacy, she has helped shape national and international dialogue on faith, equality, and human rights. Rev. Monroe is also a longtime volunteer and supporter of the Dance. Tickets are $20 for general admission (8:00-11:00pm). VIP Party Access is $40 in advance and $45 at the door, which includes early access from 6:00-8:00pm along with general admission entry, and special perks like hors d'oeuvres and an exclusive dance lesson.
