Sixteenth Annual Metro Boston Against the Tide

Can't Stop the Serenity 2008
The New England Browncoats will be presenting "Serenity", written by and starring Joss Whedon (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame) to benefit Equality Now, an international rights organization that fights to end violence against women and girls. You can also bring non-perishable food items to the screening to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank and be entered to win great prizes.

Teamworks Hosts 2nd Annual Ultimate Fitness Challenge & 5K Charity
Run to Benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children and LiftStrong

Proceeds from the events will benefit the Franciscan Hospital for
Children
and LiftStrong (The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society)


WHAT: Teamworks will host the 2nd annual Ultimate Fitness
Challenege & 5K Charity Run. The Ultimate Fitness
Challenge will include a three man bobsled push, a sled pull medley, an obstacle course, a medicine ball relay and a long jump. The Charity Run will consist of a 5K trail run around the Teamworks campus and through a local conservation area. Both events are open to all ages.

The Ultimate Fitness Challenge costs $75 per three person team and the 5K Charity Run costs $20 per person. All proceeds will benefit the Franciscan Hospital for Children and LiftStrong (The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). yogaHOPE Benefit
Local yoga gurus Taylor Wells and Ming Tsai (of Blue Ginger) welcome you to join them for a yoga class to benefit yogaHOPE. All proceeds from the class will go to the local non-profit dedicated to bringing the practice of yoga to women in substance abuse recovery, victims of domestic violence, and homeless women. It's a great cause and a great way to get in shape!
