Lizards and Snakes at The Museum of Science!!
Location: The Museum of Science
More diverse than mammals and as old as the dinosaurs, squamates — the order of legged and legless lizards — are found almost everywhere on Earth, from harsh deserts to lush rainforests. As they have adapted to life in many different environments, squamates have evolved extremely varied characteristics: some fly, some parachute, while others sprint across water.

In this living exhibit featuring more than 60 scaled reptiles from around the world, explore the remarkable adaptations that contribute to the success of this huge and ancient group.

This exhibition is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York, in collaboration with Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Atlanta and the San Diego Natural History Museum, with appreciation to Clyde Peeling's Reptiland.

On exhibit February 17 - April 27
