11 May 2008, Sunday Mother's Day Jazz Brunch at The Langham, Boston Location: The Langham, Boston The Sunday Jazz Brunch is a lavish affair on Sunday, May 11 with an enhanced buffet. Enjoy traditional breakfast items, seafood station, carving station, special children’s buffet table and signature desserts. Adults will enjoy the sounds of jazz music, while children will be entertained by a magician and balloon artist. The price is $80 per adult, $40 per child ages 5 to 12 and free for children under 5. The price includes one mimosa or one non-alcoholic beverage per person. Reservations are available for the following times: 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:45 p.m. Beerunch Chef Brian Roskow puts his own stamp on eggs benedict with a porter ale hollandaise sauce. He’s made pale ale cream cheese to accompany his house cured gravlax and an amber ale mustard to accompany a sausage platter; a trio of Cajun, German and Italian sausages served with scrambled eggs and German style au gratin potatoes. The Cafe is also offering special Mother's Day menus to enjoy while overlooking fashionable Newbury Street. In the Grand Ballroom the sumptuous buffet of springtime favorites will delight everyone. A jazz trio will set the festive mood. Taj Boston chefs will be at each artistic presentation. The accent is on the cultural cuisine that is the heart of family traditions. The tempting omelet and waffle station has a chef creating individual dishes. Themed displays spotlight chilled seafood, blinis and caviar selections, appetizers, Artisan cheeses and antipasti, soups, a sushi chef's presentation, pastas and a variety of dishes with spring vegetables. International tables offer the cuisine of Asia, South America, India and Italian and Mediterranean dishes.
