EVENT VOLUNTEERS -
Tell your friends - we need many volunteers!!!
We are looking for outgoing, personable and trustworthy
volunteers who are creative, diplomatic and willing to have fun! Volunteers
who donate $20 to The Ellie Fund
and donate 2-3.5 hours of their time at the Resolution Ball are entitled to attend
the event for free!
Your volunteer shift at the event is a fun way to
meet the 2,000 guests who will be joining us to kick off the New Year in style,
help with Boston’s most successful event, and benefit a
great non-profit!
Volunteer Opportunities - available times may vary at each event - earlier
shifts are filled up
• Coat Check (8:30 - 11:45p) (11:30pm - 2:00am)
• Greeters & Registration Desk (8:30 - 11:30pm)
(11:00 - 1:00am)
• Photo Booth (8:30 - 11pm)
• Volunteer Coordinator (8:30 - 11pm)
• Gift Bag Sales & Party Favor Distribution (8:30 - 11:30pm) (11:00pm - 1am)
• Cashiers (8:30 - 11pm) (11pm - 1am)

After we receive your volunteer registration, the
Resolution Ball Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to confirm your
participation and answer any questions you may have.
Please note: Volunteers must register and make their donation in advance. This
offer is available on a first come-first served basis. Any volunteer who commits
to helping at the event and does not show up, or acts inappropriately while
volunteering, will be charged the full ticket price for the event.

ABOUT THE ELLIE FUND
The Ellie Fund was established in 1995 in
memory of Eleanor Popkin. A Newton, Massachusetts resident for more than 30
years, "Ellie" volunteered at numerous local hospitals and health programs
despite her 9 year battle with breast cancer. Her sons Jeff and Elliott created
The Ellie Fund to continue the generous giving Ellie practiced in her life, and
to ease similar burdens the family encountered while caring for their mother
during her illness.
CARE FOR THE CAREGIVER
The Ellie Fund's innovative Care for the
Caregiver program is based on the belief that fighting cancer is easier when
patients and families can focus their energy on each other. Whether women
undergoing breast-cancer treatment live alone or have served as the primary
caregiver for the family and now have to rely on others, it is our belief that
by helping caregivers nutritionally, mentally, and emotionally by easing the
burden of their daily activities, we can aid them in their battle against breast
cancer.
No one but The Ellie Fund offers the speed and ease of support services for
social workers, patients, and families in Massachusetts. Care for the Caregiver
support services are offered free of charge, focusing on the three most
underserved needs of patients and caregivers.
GETTING TO TREATMENT
Coordinating dependable transportation to and
from medical appointments.
STAYING WELL-NOURISHED & CLEAN
Providing groceries, nutritious prepared meals
and professional house cleaning.
PROVIDING QUALITY DAYCARE
Ensuring that children are taken care of while
their loved one is undergoing treatment.
